Imagine a world where:
Every girls grows up with the self-esteem she needs to reach her full potential…,
Every woman enjoys feeling confident in her own beauty…,
We all help to build self-esteem in the people we love the most…,
It’s been said that spirit sometimes speaks to you in mysterious ways. For young Pam Drinnon, it was a profound spiritual experience at an early age that changed her life forever; an out-of-body transformation that left her inspired and ultimately gave her life true meaning.
The American Midwest isn’t normally associated with the rarified
atmosphere of high fashion and haute couture. Places like Indiana
and Wisconsin – even Chicago – are more known for their solid
industrial work ethic than their contributions to the rarified
realms of fashion and art.
The world is now well-acquainted with the concept of media empires,
the kind of powerful, big business conglomerates that were popularized
in the movie Citizen Kane. More recent examples includes Ted Turner’s
revolutionary cable broadcasting networks, Martha Stewart’s magazine
and television empire and the addition of Oprah Winfrey’s new NOW
channel to her multilevel media organization.
In this confusing era of diminished expectations, superficial cultural values,
rampant terrorism and ideological conflicts, more and more people are looking
for ways to make sense out of their lives, to find a deeper meaning, searching
for a universal truth that will bring them peace.
This April marks the one year anniversary of the celebrated
Bunker Hill Magazine that became known, among many other
excellent attributes, for also being affiliated with a
Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, a loft that used to belong
to Ed Hardy the fashion icon lead by Christian Audigier.
The fight game has long been a fertile territory for Hollywood
when it comes to gritty action films about hardscrabble knockabouts
who find success and even heroism by overcoming big odds in the ring.

Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) announced the 2011 national
winners of the 36th Annual Gracie Awards. The awards will be
presented at a black-tie Gala in Los Angeles in May of 201.
In preparation for the awards Gala, Gracie Award statues are
being engraved for such talented women...
Riding a wave of momentum, The King’s Speech won 4 key awards at
the 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday, including Best Picture, Best
Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Actor for Colin Firth.
Although it wasn’t a major upset,
In the time between writing an article last November about a yet to be
released holiday season film and the ensuing Oscar buzz from that same
piece of celluloid garnering a whopping 12 Academy Award nominations, I
was surprised at the backlash reactions of so many to The King’s Speech,
written by David Seidler, due it being considered a “period piece”....
A lot has changed since Robert Redford decided back in ‘85 that
independent films and young filmmakers should have a place to
celebrate their work outside of Hollywood. So he created an
out-of-the-way film festival through the Sundance Institute.
The Golden Globe Awards, a casual, yet glamorous celebration of the
film and television industries brought out Hollywood’s elite in a
dazzling display of high fashion and exquisite looks, with some edgy
Ricky Gervais remarks thrown in for spice.
The Golden Globe Awards, a casual, yet glamorous celebration of the film and television
industries brought out Hollywood’s elite in a dazzling display of high fashion and exquisite
looks, with some edgy Ricky Gervais remarks thrown in for spice. Now, that’s a good way to
start off the awards season in the Entertainment Capital of the World!
Although Inception was first released in July of 2010 on the big screen,
and was clearly a new kind of entertainment, not all of us can fit a cinema
visit into our hectic lives. But, the movie was just released on Apple TV
and other convenient home cinema channels...
What a great night for music! After a glamorous red carpet lead-in
that featured Lady Gaga arriving in a large fiberglass egg, incubating
for her evening’s performance, the 53rd annual music awards show kicked
things into gear with a soaring tribute to the First Lady of Soul...
Setting an example by aiming for a worthy cause while
coming from nothing and having no support at all almost
never happens.
This is the kind of story you do not see in the press. True stories
It’s an extremely rare occasion, a once in a lifetime
event when one has the opportunity to experience something
altogether new and different in the world, a product that
not only transcends genre, but also combines traditional and
solid craftsmanship with the latest technology...
In a complex, confusing, chaotic world, real meaning is often difficult
to find. We drive around furiously trying to keep to an agenda in what
has become our superficial, fast lane, drive-through culture, often with
increasing anger, anxiety and frustration.
Besides the never-ending discussions on blockbuster movies the
next most important subject in Hollywood has always been beauty.
One can never be too young, too glamorous or too skinny in the
Beauty Capital of the World.
There is hardly anyone who has not heard about the Secret,
or watched the film numerous times, and started to wonder
about life, the workings of our brain and how it relates to our mind...

Los Angeles has plenty of celebrities, millionaires,
billionaires, dignitaries, Academy Award winners, sports
legends, political figures, shakers and makers shaping
the World...

Fourteen years ago, Women’s Online Media and Education
Network began with a very large mission: to give women
(and other lesser heard voices) the opportunity to have
a much larger voice...
Of course what I love about this movie, besides that it
stars Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem, is that it is
based on a true story and she is not a cougar, or any of
those fanciful Hollywood picturesque creations that...
NBC’s Sunday night’s live of the 62nd Emmy’s broadcast

into the programming for industry award shows.
